The most important thing to know is that newborn photography requires patience and lots of practice in order to master the art.

• Get inspired by some beautiful pictures taken by other photographers (we’ve included some of our favorites in the blog post)
• Use a DSLR as your camera–this is important because it will allow you to take high quality professional photos that are easy to transfer over to social media sites where people can purchase prints or download digital copies if they choose too! You don’t need an expensive camara either; there’s plenty of affordable options available at most electronics stores today so go check them out!
• Pick out props like baskets, blankets and stuffed animals to use with the baby during shoots–these will help you get different angles on your subject matter.

• Don’t forget to take lots of breaks and be prepared for long stretches without seeing any action (sometimes a whole day can go by) but this is all part of the experience so don’t let it discourage you.
